The events are why we exists.
We try to plan events that give youth and their leaders a unique experience that can’t be duplicated in a district or local church setting. We have something for everyone. Here is a list of events that we do and the time of year they happen, so the next time you are looking for something for your youth group to do, squeeze one of these in…you won’t be disappointed.
Refuge- Jr. High- Usually in the fall, late October early November
Veritas- Jr./Sr. High- Last weekend in February or first weekend in March
Choir Tour- Sr. High- Mid June + practices–LIMITED SPACES–
Jr. High Assembly- Late July
Sr. High Assembly- Late July
Big Dam Bridge & Wild River Country Lock-In- First Friday in August

JYMO- Jr./Sr. High- Mid July- This event changes locations each year so watch for info starting around the first of the year. It is a Jurisdictional Conference Youth event, which means youth and their groups come from 8 different states to worship and grow in their relationship with God through Jesus. Youth 11′- Jr./Sr. High- Mid July- This event is for Methodist churches from all over the US. It is held once every four years and is in a different location each time. This next year it will be split into two different locations due to it’s overwhelming success and attendance. To keep up with details check out the website
The ACCYM is the youth led youth ministry group of The Arkansas Conference. This council has the task of discerning what ministries will be offered specifically to youth and their adult leaders within our conference. The ACCYM develops and carries out these ministries throughout the school year.
